You need to take the Airport Express 300 from Belfast City Airport to the Europa Bus Center. From the Europa Bus Center, you can get a bus directly to Galway.

How to get to Galway from Belfast Airport by Train

The best option is to get a taxi to Belfast Train Station. From Belfast Train Station, take a train to Connolly Station Dublin. Get the Dart, Bus or Taxi to Heuston Station. You can get a train from Heuston Station to Galway Station.

Leaving Belfast City Center, take the A26 South onto the M1. Take the M1 south to Dublin. Exit onto the M50 and continue South and exit onto the N4 / M4 towards Sligo. Continue on the M4 and take the M6 exit West for Galway. Continue on the M6 to Galway. At the end of the motorway, you’ll enter a roundabout. Follow the road signs for Galway City Center.

Bus Eireann provides a connecting Air Coach bus service from Cork’ Airport to the Parnell Place Bus Station.  It’s just 8 km from the Airport to the Bus Station.

It’s a ten minute walk from the Bus Station to Cork’s Kent Railway Station. You will require two separate trains to get to Galway from Cork. Go to the Irish Rail website to find train times and fares from Kent Station to Galway Train Station.

How to get to Galway from Cork Airport by Car

Leaving Cork Airport, take the N27 (South Ring Road) and head Northwards. Continue on it through the city center. Turn left at Merchant’s Quay and follow the road signs for the N20. Continue on the N20 North, Northwestwards out of the city towards Charleville. Stay on N20 to Limerick City. Follow the signs for the M20. Follow the signs for the N18. Continue on the N18 and join the M18 motorway. Continue on the motorway to Gort. Exit the Motorway and follow the signs for Galway. Continue on the N18 to Galway. Enter the M6 motorway. At the end of the motorway, you’ll enter a roundabout. Follow the road signs for Galway City Center.

Leaving Dublin Airport, take the M1 heading South. Leaving Shannon Airport, take the N19 Eastwards. Access the M18 motorway and continue North. Continue on the motorway to Gort. Exit the Motorway and follow the signs for Galway. Continue on the N18 to Galway. Enter the M6 motorway. At the end of the motorway, you’ll enter a roundabout. Follow the road signs for Galway City Center.

Follow the road signs for Galway City Center.
