Love Cycling. Love more than just Cycling.

We love cycling and we know you love cycling.  You don’t hire a bike or partake in a cycling tour if you don’t have a love for cycling.  As a cyclist you know how fulfilling, enjoyable and exhilarating cycling can be.  After all, there is no better way to experience, explore and enjoy the best that the West of Ireland has to give you.

The Irish saying “May the wind be always at your back” has no greater meaning than when you are winding along the Atlantic coast on a bicycle or tandem. It’s a fresh wind that brings power to your legs and pushes you further and further as you want to explore more and more.

Your journey along the West of Ireland brings you by many fields of sheep and cattle grazing contentedly as they stare at you cycling by.  You meander around mountains, between lakes, over stony bridges, and along bog roads. You wonder at that glorious moment when the sun shines it’s rays through the clouds as if it were a god letting you know s/he is watching you.  You stop to take pictures at spots you had only seen in postcards. This is why you love cycling.

You see golfers, men and women, swinging their clubs; horse-riders, young and old, riding along the beach; kayakers, experienced and beginners, paddling in the ocean and in the lakes; surfers, amateurs and pros, hanging on a grand wave; fishermen and fisherwomen, relaxing in a boat with their rods, as they wait for their catch of the day.  You know you love cycling but you want more than just cycling.  You may want to golf, or ride a horse, or surf, kayak or fish.

What is stopping you?  Absolutely nothing.

West Ireland Cycling love cycling.  We know you do too.  But we know that sometimes you want more than just cycling.  If there is any activity you would like to do as part of one of our cycling tours.  Even if you are just hiring a bicycle from us, we can organise any activity you’d like to do in the West of Ireland.

Simply contact us, let us know what you would like to do, and we’ll do the rest!
