| Day 1. Arrive in Ireland
Accommodation: 4 star Luxury Hotel in Galway
Arrive to Dublin or Shannon Airport where you will be greeted and transferred to your 5 star accommodation in Galway. The hotel is nestled peacefully on a stunning 138 acre estate on the banks of Lough Corrib, just outside Galway city. Spend the afternoon and evening exploring the narrow pedestrian medieval streets. Galway has an excellent selection of traditional Irish pubs, most of which will have music and story-telling in the summer evenings. Enjoy an evening meal in one of Galway’s finest restaurants before retiring for the night.
| Day 2. The Cycling begins – Cycle through Connemara to the ancient village of Cong
Accommodation: : 4 star Luxury Lodge at Ashford Castle
Cycling distance: 35km, 60km or 80km
We will greet you at the hotel in the morning and brief you on the cycling tour and arrange the fitting of bikes. We will then drive out of the city to the start of the cycle in Connemara, an area rich in ancient culture and stunning natural beauty. From the starting point you will cycle to the village of Cong, home of the elegant 800 year old Ashford castle. The village if also the site of the famous Cong Abbey dating from the 9th century. Spend the day and evening exploring the village and castle grounds. Spend the night in the 4 star Lodge at Ashford Castle.
| Day 3 – The Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher
Accommodation: 4 star Luxury Lodge in the Burren
Cycling distance: 35km or 50km
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Rossaveal where you will catch the morning ferry to the Aran Islands. The islands are a journey into old world Ireland with a stunning limestone landscape found nowhere else in the world. The small laneways are perfect to explore by bike. Visit the ancient and spectacular site of Dun Aonghus. Catch the afternoon ferry to Doolin where you can visit the famous Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs stretch for 7km along the coast and rise to 700 feet above the Atlantic ocean. Spend the night in a 4 star castle nestled in the heart of the Burren.
| Day 4 – Transfer to Dublin
Accommodation: 4 star hotel in Dublin city centre
Cycling distance: 35km option
In the morning, you have the option to explore the local countryside and national park by bike further and then take a private car transfer to Dublin for the final night of your whirlwind tour of Ireland, visiting the Guinness Brewery and the main shopping street in Dublin.

The FX2 is strong, stable, fun and perfectly suited for Irish roads. Customised for West Ireland Cycling with puncture resistant tyres, mudguards and rear rack. Also available with ladies specific frame. Bike lock, helmet, repair kit, pump and spare tube is also included.

Option 3:
Trek Electric Bikes
We use the best quality Trek E-bikes on the market. These bikes are pedal assist meaning they travel a lot further when you push the pedal compared to a regular bike. Comfortable, strong and stable bikes combined with a quiet, powerful Bosch motor and a fully integrated high-capacity battery ensure many miles of care-free cycling. On a full charge they are good for 100km+.

Carbon road bike:
A Trek Emonda SL5 is super light and super fun. With a 500 OCLV carbon frame and Shimano 105 drive train, this bike offers the speed and comfort you are used to.
